I can remember a lot of the plot. My local library had a whole shelf of Henry Cecil books, and I worked my way through them, fascinated by the strange byways of the law they contained, and the deft twists he came up with. He was good at short stories too, those turning on a sudden change of view or plot reversal. Now you have tempted me, I will have to read something by him....
