It took a long time for me to find a copy. I need to find out about the copyright situation. It certainly should be reprinted. The Passing Tramphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09830680639601570152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137677673775151256.post-22643984856938988782013-03-01T07:46:03.465-08:002013-03-01T07:46:03.465-08:00I very much enjoyed reading your post! Are you doing one specific Smith title, or a general piece?

LOL, Ruth Rendell can look very sinister and intimidating! I think surely she must play it up for photos. Someone should do a gallery of Rendell photos over the years, back to her sixties bouffant look. It's hard to believe her first book is nearly fifty years old now. One could do a "Then and Now" comparing early Rendell with late Rendell. The Passing Tramphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09830680639601570152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137677673775151256.post-32298875587421692172012-03-14T10:02:49.151-07:002012-03-14T10:02:49.151-07:00Wow, that photo of Barbara – er, Ruth – is one int...Wow, that photo of Barbara – er, Ruth – is one intimidating portrait. I loved this analogy. Wish I could find a copy of White's book. Never seen a single copy of this one.

And now cue the "Twilight Zone" theme: I am just finishing a review which touches on a similar analogy between books by Ruth Rendell and Shelley Smith! How's that for synchronicity?J F Norrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06473487417479127354noreply@blogger.com
